This blog post from ASBPE Cleveland president Brad Kenney discusses censorship issues -- something U.S. publications might come up against when they go international.
Has anyone on this forum come up against censorship problems, and if so, what, if anything, has your publication done in response? Would your publication be likely to take a stand against censorship in general, or only if the censorship directly affected its ability to publish freely in a particular country? Most publishes stand up to state censorship which probits publishers from making certain statements by law, but there is a more insidious form of commercial censorship where certain things cannot be written because they offend advertisors or key clients.
